What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?
At TerraVenture, tours run rain or shine. In fact, rainy days can make for some of the best riding conditions — the trails are less dusty, the temperatures stay cooler, and bugs are often reduced.
Light rain, wet trails, and passing showers are all part of the outdoor adventure experience. Our guides will monitor conditions throughout the day and adjust the pace or route as needed to keep the ride safe and enjoyable.
If there is a typical passing storm, we may pause the tour and wait it out. However, in the event of severe weather, extended thunderstorms, high winds, or unsafe trail conditions, the tour may be cancelled at TerraVenture’s discretion.
Also we have rain coats available for rentals.
